PLS' product licensing is structured to match your organizations stage in the development and rollout of online learning. This means that your cost of online learning is commenserate with your organization's use of our training services. What stage of online learning is your organization at?
Growth Stage
In the growth stage, organizations are in the process of migrating their classroom-based and ad-hoc training programs to on-line learning. During this stage there is an emphasis is on course development with limited deployment of online courses. PLS provides a licensing model that is attractive for organizations in this growth stage.
Mid-Stage
In the mid-stage, organizations have deployed a number of online courses and they are starting to experiment with the creation of collaborative learning experiences. At this stage online courses are augmented wtih online collaboration to deepen the learning experience. A licensing model based on greater use of the system with the organization now makes sense.
Mature Stage
In the mature stage, organizations are developing online learning experiences at all levels within their organization. Numerous learning communities are active at any given time. People are engaged in collaborative learning that involves project-based assignments, mentoring and coaching. Participating in online communities is now the norm. Since the organization is heavily using the PLSystem throughout their organization, a pricing model that assumes a long term commitment to the online learning communities now make sense.
